The LIFTER is a simple three step system.

The LIFTER is the only manhole cover removing system that allows the individual to remove the cover without leaving the vehicle. The cover can be moved within the time it would take to get your pick out of the truck. The LIFTER can easily be installed onto any vehicle that has a 2" mounted receiver.

Step 1

Using the camera and monitor as a guide, the magnet is positioned over the manhole cover.

Step 2

At the touch of a wireless remote, the magnet is lowered onto the cover, then activated.

Step 3

The cover can now be raised and moved to any location.

The LIFTER is the opener, or "key", to the LOCKdown manhole cover. With a simple addition to the magnet, The Lifter is used to release the locking mechanism. With The Lifter's magnet activated and the locking mechanism retracted, the cover can be removed with ease.

Optional Swing Arm Attachment

The optional swing arm attachment for The LIFTER can be used on the front or the rear, or wherever a 2" reciver can be mounted on jet trucks or camera trucks. This attachment allows the operator to position the vehicle so that the jet hose or camera is positioned over the manhole cover, and The LIFTER can be swung out of the way.

in removing covers that are above the curb,
